Two individuals, one organisation nominated for ‘Bangabandhu Award for Wildlife Conservation’

Two individuals and one organisation have been nominated by the government for the ‘Bangabandhu Award for Wildlife Conservation’.

They were nominated at a meeting of the Wildlife Advisory Board chaired by Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin in Dhaka on Thursday to encourage nature and wildlife conservation.

Late Dr Mohammad Anisuzzaman Khan, a prominent wildlife researcher, was nominated in the Wildlife Education and Research category and Government Azizul Haq College, Bogra, for the Team for Energy and Environmental Research (TIR) award in the wildlife conservation category.

 

n addition, Bakhtiyar Hamid of Chuadanga district has been nominated in the category of Forest and Wildlife Conservation Officer, Renowned Researcher, Scientist, Wildlife Conservationist and Media Personnel or Personality.
